NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – A severe weather event is moving through the Grand Strand area and many other parts of the country. Heavy rain today and Friday are expected. Low-lying areas may experience ponding of water. A high tide along with high winds have already impacted parts of North Myrtle Beach.
The National Weather Service released the following information:
Residents and visitors are encouraged to secure their trash and recycle bins. Do not drive through high water. If you are in a flood-prone or low-lying area it may be a good idea to move your vehicle.
