CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD A MAY 12 WORKSHOP ON A PROPOSED ORDINANCE REGULATING TRANSIENT PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS
City Council will hold a May 12, 1:30 pm workshop at City Hall to discuss a proposed ordinance that seeks to regulate transient parking in residential neighborhoods.
The workshop stems from Council’s May 3 meeting, during which Council considered giving first reading to a proposed ordinance to regulate transient parking in residential neighborhoods. The first reading of an ordinance is also a public hearing and, after receiving comments from the public, Council postponed the first reading of the ordinance and scheduled the May 12 workshop.

During the May 3 Council meeting, Council members requested that people provide their suggestions regarding the proposed ordinance to the City prior to the May 12 workshop. If you would like to provide suggestions, please email them to pcdowling@nmb.us by Monday, May 10 at 5:00 pm. This will allow staff time to compile the information for Council in advance of the workshop.
