The North Myrtle Beach City Council met Monday, January 4, at City Hall for a 6:30 pm executive session and 7:00 pm meeting.

During the executive session, City Council received a legal briefing regarding the lawsuit entitled, City of Myrtle Beach, for Itself and a Class of Similarly Situated Plaintiffs, v. Horry County, 2019-CP-26-01732; discussed a potential contract between the City and Beam & Associates; and discussed potential appointments to the Planning Commission.

City Councilman Terry White, who also served as a North Myrtle Beach Police Officer, noted that at one point during his service Lockey was his sergeant.

We thank Howard Lockey for his five decades of service to North Myrtle Beach citizens and visitors.
