Operation Chief Todd Davis graduated from Emergency Medical Technician school in Georgia in 1994. He then moved to Myrtle Beach in hopes to begin his career as a firefighter.
Career
In 1997, he was hired by the City of North Myrtle Beach in as a Firefighter and then in 2002, he was promoted to fire Lieutenant. In 2002, Operation Chief Todd Davis joined the SCTF1 and became certified as a canine search specialist. In 2005, he was deployed to assist with search and rescue of the hurricane Katrina victims in New Orleans. In 2009, he was promoted to fire Captain and in 2011 he was promoted as Operation Chief. Operation Chief Todd Davis is currently in charge of special operational teams such as the Technical Rescue Team as well as Special Events Operations that require the fire department’s assistance.
Education
He is currently attending Columbia Southern University where he will graduate with a degree in Fire Science.
Personal Life
Operation Chief Todd Davis enjoys spending time with his 3 children as well as hunting, fishing, and working with alligators.
