Lance Corporal Amy Vicks moved to the North Myrtle Beach area in 1998 from upstate New York. She started with the department in 2001 with Uniform Patrol where she served at a Field Training Officer for over 8 years training new police recruits. She was assigned the position of Warrant and Transport Officer where she located and served warrants on wanted subjects and transported prisoners from various facilities to court proceedings.
She recently served a two year rotation in Criminal Investigations, specializing in Sex Crimes. She is the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) representative for the department. Throughout her 15 year career with the department she has assisted in various divisions within the department such as Police Training Division, Fire Inspectors Office and Records Division.
Personal Life
Amy enjoys baking, decorating cakes, going to the movies, and spending time with family.
