Work History
Mike started with the city of North Myrtle Beach as a firefighter on January 25th 1999. During that time he was assigned to several different stations. In September 2001 he was promoted to Fire Lieutenant on A shift. He also was an instructor and helped teach recruit schools and Personal Safety Officers (
PSOs).
In 2005 he became a class 1 officer and a Super
PSO. In 2006 he made the decision to switch to the patrol division and was assigned to Charlie Squad. He eventually was moved to Delta Squad where he served as a field training officer. In 2012 was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He was assigned to Delta Squad and was the night shift supervisor until 2015. At that time he transferred to Bravo Squad in order to work on day shift schedule.
Mike was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on January 10th 2016.
Personal Life
Mike is married and has two children. In his spare time Mike enjoys watching hockey and occasionally getting out and playing golf.
