The Human Resources Division assists employees and applicants in their search for employment and career development. Through recruitment and supervision of the City's Personnel System, we are striving to recruit the best workforce and leadership talent to the City of North Myrtle Beach.
Growth
The City of North Myrtle Beach is certainly one of the most visible community organizations providing a long list of services to its residents, property owners, and thousands of visitors. Under the Council-Manager form of government, City Council appoints a City Manager who hires all budgeted positions, except for those non-classified positions appointed directly by City Council. City services are organzed into departments and divisions. The City has grown tremendously over the last several years and the number of City employees has started to reflect that growth.
